BRITISH TO INCREASE FLIGHTS TO ZAGREB

British Airways (BA), flag carrier of United Kingdom, member of Oneworld alliance and International Airlines Group, will be increasing Zagreb service for two additional rotations. New service will results in total of 11 weekly rotations to Croatian capital.

British Airways will operate daily rotations to Zagreb from London Heathrow Airport. On Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays it will offer double daily services to Croatian capital. Flights will be operated by Airbus A320 aircraft. Departures and arrivals for specific days are indicated in the table below. 



It is interesting to note the increase of both IAG and British Airways presence on Croatian market. During W2018/19 British operated 7 weekly flights to Zagreb which were upgraded to 8 during spring 2020 and then reduced to 7 during summer 2019. During W2019/20 British operates 9 weekly rotation while in S2020 it will upgrade the service to 11 weekly. British flies to Dubrovnik and Split. Split is the only regional airport connected to London City Airport. At the same time, Vueling is introducing flights from Paris CDG to Dubrovnik, and operates year-round services to Dubrovnik from Barcelona and Rome FCO. Vueling also runs services to Zadar, Zagreb and Split. Iberia runs almost double daily summer flights to Croatian capital, and connecting Madrid also to Zadar, Split and Dubrovnik. Aer Lingus runs daily service to Dubrovnik from Dublin, and 2 weekly rotations from Cork. It connects Dublin with Pula (4 weekly) and Split (4 weekly).
