CROATIA AIRLINES FLEET EXPANSION IN 2020
Croatia Airlines (OU), flag carrier of Croatia and member of Star Alliance, has outlines the plan for fleet expansion in 2020. As reported by TangoSix, Croatia Airlines will dry-lease 1 A319 and 1 Bombardier Dash Q400 aircraft and wet-lease 1 CRJ1000 aircraft for the 2020 summer season.
Newly added Airbus A319 should make it maiden flight under 9A registration by the end of March, while Q400 should enter the fleet on May 1st 2020. According to Avioradar.hr, A319 should be dry-leased from Easy Jet while Q400 from Austrian Airlines. While the identity of A319 is yet unknown, Q400 to be taken from Austrian is registered as OE-LGJ.

Currenty, Croatia Airlines operates 2 Airbus A320, 4 Airbus A319 and 6 Bombardier Dash Q400 aircraft. During the summer season, for the last 2 years Croatia Airlines was wet-leasing additional 2 CRJ1000 aircraft from Air Nostrum. Croatia has previously ordered 4 new Airbus A320neo aircraft from Airbus company which should be delivered from 2021 through 2022.
