EUROWINGS RETURNS TO OSIJEK IN S2020

Eurowings (EW), German low cost airline and member of Lufthansa Group, will be returning this summer to Osijek with service from Stuttgart.

Service will be operating each Tuesday and Sunday. On Tuesdays, incoming flights will depart from Stuttgart at 10:30 and land in Osijek at 12:00. The return flight will depart Osijek at 12:35 and land in Stuttgart at 14:15. Sunday service will depart Stuttgart at 06:40 and land in Osijek at 08:35. The return will depart Osijek at 09:25 and land in Stuttgart at 11:20. On both rotations, Eurowings will operate Bombardier Dash 8-Q400 aircraft.

Incoming flight will depart Warsaw at 12:45 and land in Split at 14:40 from where the return flight will take off at 15:30 and land in Warsaw at 17:15. MAJOR CROATIAN AIRPORTS HANDLE +11M PASSENGERS IN 2019

The 2019 business was very beneficial for Croatian airports in  terms of new routes and the increase of passenger numbers. Split Airport completed its new terminal building which enables it to further increase its services, Dubrovnik became the first Croatian airport to have a direct connection with United States thanks to the direct flights to Philadelphia operated by American Airlines, while Zadar Airport has seen the biggest expansion in terms of new routes thanks to new rotations operated by Ryanair.  Photo 1. LUFTHANSA TEMPORARILY SUSPENDS ZAGREB FLIGHTS

Lufthansa (LH), flag carrier of Germany and member of Star Alliance, will temporarily suspend flights between Frankfurt and Zagreb due to COVID-19 pandemics. Lufthansa has operated 14 weekly flights (double daily) between Frankfurt International and Zagreb International airports. Due to the pandemics of COVID-19 during the week between March 8 and March 14, Lufthansa has cut service from 14 to 2 weekly flights. Between March 15 and March 28, service will be suspended due to the pandemics of COVID-19 that provoked lack of demand for international flights.  Lufthansa has cancelled around 28.000 flights from both hubs in Frankfurt and Munich.
