SMARTWINGS TO OPERATE PRAGUE SERVICE TO SPLIT AND DUBROVNIK

Smartwings (QS), Czech leisure airline, will be flying to Croatia during 2020 summer schedule. As previously reported, Smartwings will be offering three weekly flights from Warsaw and Katowice to Split, but will also continue to maintain Prague routes to Dubrovnik and Split. 


Smartwings is returning to Split at April 6th with two weekly flights. From early May to October, service will be operating daily, departing from Prague at 12:25 and landing in Split 13:55. Return flight will take off from Split at 14:40 and land in Prague at 16:15. Flights will be operated by Boeing 737 and Airbus A320. 


Dubrovnik will see direct Smartwings flights to Prague  from May 8th. Between June and early October, flights will be operated daily. Incoming leg will depart Prague at 12:15 and land in Dubrovnik at 13:55. Return flight will depart Dubrovnik at 14:40 and land in Prague at 16:30. During post-summer season, service will be downgraded to three weekly, with last flight scheduled for October 23rd. Service will be operated by Boeing 737 aircraft. 

Smartwings was founded in 1997 and today it is the largest Czech airline with 45 Boeing aircraft flying to 92 destinations across Europe. Smartwings is the owner of Czech flag carrier Czech Airlines and has also established subsidiaries in Hungary, Poland and Slovakia. Czech Airline, one of the oldest European airlines has discontinued its flights to Zagreb during late 2019 and for now will not be returning to Croatian capital. Czech Airlines flights between Prague and Zagreb is the first Czech international route introduced in 1930.

Flights will be operated by Boeing 737-800 aircraft.  Service from Warsaw will run three times a week, each Monday, Thursday and Saturday. Incoming flight will depart Warsaw at 12:45 and land in Split at 14:40 from where the return flight will take off at 15:30 and land in Warsaw at 17:15. Flights will be operated by Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

CONDOR INTRODUCES NEW ROUTE TO DUBROVNIK

Last year, Condor operated flights between Dubrovnik and Frankfurt while during the 2020 summer season, Frankfurt flights will be complemented by one weekly service to Hanover Airport. Flights will be operated by A320 aircraft and will depart Hanover each Saturday at 11:30 and land in Dubrovnik at 13:35. Return leg will depart from Dubrovnik at 14:25 and land in Hanover at 16:35.  Frankfurt flights to Dubrovnik will be operated on Sundays, departing Frankfurt International at 11:50 and landing in Dubrovnik at 13:45. Airline will take off to Dubrovnik at 14:45 and land in Frankfurt at 16:50. Flights on Dubrovnik-Frankfurt route will be operated by A320 aircraft.

AIR CANADA FLIGHTS TO ZAGREB IN S2020

Air Canada, flag carrier of Canada and member of Star Alliance, will be returning to Zagreb with its Toronto service in S2020. Air Canada Rouge will be operating flights between Toronto and Zagreb from June 6th. During June, flights will depart Toronto each Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 17:25 and land in Zagreb Airport the following morning at 08:00. The return flights will depart Zagreb each Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at 10:15 and land in Toronto at 13:45 the same day. From July 1st, airlines has scheduled the change of the incoming flight, that will be departing Toronto at 16:55 and landing in Zagreb the following day at 07:30.
