SMARTWINGS TO OPERATE PRAGUE SERVICE TO SPLIT AND DUBROVNIK

Smartwings (QS), Czech leisure airline, will be flying to Croatia during 2020 summer schedule. As previously reported, Smartwings will be offering three weekly flights from Warsaw and Katowice to Split, but will also continue to maintain Prague routes to Dubrovnik and Split. 



Smartwings is returning to Split at April 6th with two weekly flights. From early May to October, service will be operating daily, departing from Prague at 12:25 and landing in Split 13:55. Return flight will take off from Split at 14:40 and land in Prague at 16:15. Flights will be operated by Boeing 737 and Airbus A320. 



Dubrovnik will see direct Smartwings flights to Prague  from May 8th. Between June and early October, flights will be operated daily. Incoming leg will depart Prague at 12:15 and land in Dubrovnik at 13:55. Return flight will depart Dubrovnik at 14:40 and land in Prague at 16:30. During post-summer season, service will be downgraded to three weekly, with last flight scheduled for October 23rd. Service will be operated by Boeing 737 aircraft. 


Smartwings was founded in 1997 and today it is the largest Czech airline with 45 Boeing aircraft flying to 92 destinations across Europe. Smartwings is the owner of Czech flag carrier Czech Airlines and has also established subsidiaries in Hungary, Poland and Slovakia. Czech Airline, one of the oldest European airlines has discontinued its flights to Zagreb during late 2019 and for now will not be returning to Croatian capital. Czech Airlines flights between Prague and Zagreb is the first Czech international route introduced in 1930.
