VOLOTEA TO INTRODUCE NEW ROUTES TO SPLIT
Volotea (V7), Spanish low cost airline, will be introducing the new flights from Split to Athens and Bari. With new routes, and the cancelation of flights to Bergamo, Volotea will serve Split Airport from 10 destinations across Europe. Flights from Nantes and Toulouse will be upgraded from 2 to 3 weekly during the peak tourist season. Flights will be operated by the combination of Boeing 717 and Airbus 319 aircraft.

Greece will be third country served from Split Airport, with the introduction of seasonal service to Athens. Service will run between April 19 and November 4 and will be operated by Boeing 717 aircraft. Service will run each Wednesday and Sunday.
New service to Bari will be operate once a week, each Wednesday. First rotation will be introduced on July 8th, while the last rotations is scheduled to take part at November 30. Apart of Bari, Volotea will connect Split with 2 other Italian cities: Palermo and Venice for which no major change will be made. Palermo will be served once a week, each Wednesday, while Venice will see steady increase of weekly flights up to 4 weekly during the peak of the tourist season. Flights between Split and Milan/Bergamo, operated twice a week, during S2019, has been canceled for S2020.
Volotea will continue to serve Split from 6 French airports. Flights between Bordeaux and Split will be operated on Wednesdays and Sundays, the same as last year. Marseille will reduce number of weekly flights in the high season. Last year it used to operate flights on Wednesdays, Sundays and Fridays, while in S2020 only Wednesdays and Sundays are scheduled for operations.
Flights from Nantes to Split were operated in S2019 on Wednesdays and Sundays, which will remain during the 2020 summer flight schedule. The service will be upgraded during peak of the season with additional rotations on Tuesdays. Flights between Nice and Split will remain the same as during S2020, on Wednesdays and Sundays.
Toulouse service will be upgraded from 2 weekly to 3 weekly, operating on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Sundays. Lyon service to Split will be operated each Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday during the peak season.
